Google Speed Test

Website Testing

Have you ever wondered how good your website is? How is it judged by Google or the other search engines?

Well here is another useful tool to test out your website, "Google Page Speed" will tell you how fast your website is loading and also make some helpful suggestions on how to make the necessary changes to speed things up, Google is keen to speed up the web and so will judge (and rank) each website by its speed, below you will see a short video from Google giving more background on the "Need for Speed"

If you want to test your own website you can click straight through to the Google Page Speed test by clicking here.

What do you do when you have run the test and obtained your score out of 100?

Google Page Speed

Well if you scored less than 82 Google will have offered some advice and refinements you should make, it's probably wise to run a few more tests - We have a comprehensive selection of test's we can run depending on the problems you encounter . . . .

If you scored less than 72 you probably need to make some major amendments - your website ranking will also have suffered.

- Check out your "Google Page Rank"

- Try out the "Validator Tool"

I am happy to offer some free advice and run some additional (more complex) tests - if you send your website address and e-mail details I will run the test and send you the results.

We also have a great selection of laptops; net-books and latest technology follow this link to find out more
